Tom Coverly was born in one of the roughest cities in America ... Camden, New Jersey. Growing up, Tom was a super skinny kid which made him vulnerable to school bullying. Tom's personal story includes his past choices and the consequences of each of his actions. Tom's life choices as a kid seemed to be heading down the wrong path until a caring person spoke truth into his life. ​Choosing integrity and taking no short cuts along with grind and determanation has resulted in Tom becoming one of the most sought after speakers today. Despite the naysayers and those who tried to pull Tom in a different direction, Tom's life now has a purpose. He is founder of the Kindness Wins Movement. He relates to young people in a way that breaks down the toughest of hearts. Tom is known as one of the most raw, real & relevant youth speakers today! This character assembly has become one of the most requested school assemblies in the nation for middle, high school students & young adults. His REAL RESPECT message (respecting yourself and others) is contagious. He focuses on the importance of friendships and doing the right thing when noone is looking!
