I Love to Read

A Read Across America Assembly That Gets Students Reading More and Checking Out Books All in one 45-minute program — and the library gets busy that afternoon. In “I Love To Read” I highlight not only how useful reading is in daily life — jobs, careers, the practical business of getting through a week — but how necessary it is in order to have a rewarding and fulfilling life. The real focus is on just how important reading skills are in every walk of life: professional, personal and, of course, for fun. Fiction and nonfiction, biographies and autobiographies, mental acuity and many more ideas are all touched on. The whole show is enhanced with a beautiful set design that encourages kids to R.E.A.D. — and shows them how Reading can Educate you, and how with a good Attitude and Determination it helps you succeed in life.
